Adobe Road Winery onboard for Wine Spectator’s Grand Tour – Leaves lasting impressions in three major cities
After fifteen years of hard work and commitment, Adobe Road Winery is on a roll, receiving much-deserved accolades and recognition. The three city Wine Spectator Grand Tour we recently traveled with brought that to a whole new level. Las Vegas, Chicago, and Miami all in less than a week and at every stop Adobe Road Winery was the standout!
The Grand Tour is an invitation-only event hosted by the Wine Spectator, showcasing the world’s top rated wineries. Adobe Road was humbled to have so many excited patrons biding our long lines for a taste of some of California’s most renowned, handcrafted wines. Our small winery seemed to steal the show as so many guests visited our booth, again and again. It was common for patrons to return with a friend, encouraging them to taste these cultivated masterpieces. Adobe Road Winery Cabernet Sauvignon, Beckstoffer Vineyards, Georges III, Block A-1, was the unsung “top wine of the tour” many attendees declared.
Winemaker Garrett Martin joined the tour in Las Vegas, enhancing the experience even more. He too was confounded by all of the praise bestowed upon what he had helped craft. In Chicago, one of our good friends and partner of The Racers Group team came to support our esteemed winery brand. She left the event overwhelmingly impressed with the response to this year’s extraordinary releases.
Miami was the final stop of The Grand Tour and perhaps the most exciting. Owner Kevin Buckler, broke away from the hectic schedule of his sportscar racing team to attend the final event in this series of spectacular tastings. “You could feel the energy enhanced at this event,” said National Sales Director, Sonny Martin, observing the heightened engagement around Buckler’s appearance.
The recent Wine Spectator, Beckstoffer cover story prominently featuring our small winery, the latest Robert Parker accolades, and the mounting excitement around the new Petaluma riverfront winery have quickly turned Adobe Road Winery into the “rock stars” of the wine world. Exciting times!
