Live Music – Paul Schneider and Hannes de Kassian Jazz duo

In the summer of 2018, trumpeter/vocalist Paul Schneider and guitarist Hannes De Kassian set out on their musical journey, exploring jazz and funk in clubs, bars, and wineries across Sonoma and Marin counties. Their journey hit a roadblock with the global pandemic in 2020. However, Paul’s online reconnection with his close friend and renowned drummer, Atma Anur, led to a personal musical revelation. They began collaborating on new songs, involving De Kassian and other talented musicians remotely. Their adaptability and resilience resulted in Funkalypse, released in summer 2023, which quickly gained nationwide airplay and nearly a quarter million streams on Spotify.
